<h2>About Jennifer</h2>Jennifer Todd is a proud single mom, a dedicated school nurse, and a successful small business owner from Centralia, Illinois. Raised by hardworking parents — her father a school janitor and her mother a registered nurse — she learned the values of service, resilience, and community care. With 30 years of nursing experience, including work as a traveling nurse across the country, Jennifer has seen firsthand the challenges families face in accessing quality healthcare. She's also a passionate advocate for students, serving as a school nurse and a former school board member. Now, she’s running for Congress because she’s tired of Mary Miller bringing nothing back for Illinois families, farmers, and veterans. Jennifer believes it’s time for middle-class, everyday people to have a voice in Washington — and she’s ready to be that voice.____________________________________________________________________________________________<h2>Why I'm Running</h2>I'm running for Congress because the people of our district deserve real leadership that puts their needs first. Every deserves a quality education, no matter their zip code. I will fight to fully fund our schools, increase teacher pay, and invest in vocational and technical training programs.
