About Jennifer

Jennifer Todd is a proud single mom, a dedicated school nurse, and a successful small business owner from Centralia, Illinois. Raised by hardworking parents — her father a school janitor and her mother a registered nurse — she learned the values of service, resilience, and community care. With 30 years of nursing experience, including work as a traveling nurse across the country, Jennifer has seen firsthand the challenges families face in accessing quality healthcare. She's also a passionate advocate for students, serving as a school nurse and a former school board member. Now, she’s running for Congress because she’s tired of Mary Miller bringing nothing back for Illinois families, farmers, and veterans. Jennifer believes it’s time for middle-class, everyday people to have a voice in Washington — and she’s ready to be that voice.

Why I'm Running

I'm running for Congress because the people of our district deserve real leadership that puts their needs first. Unlike Mary Miller, who has made headlines for offensive remarks and extreme policies, I believe in representing everyone — not just the most divisive voices. While she focuses on restricting rights, undermining reproductive freedom, and pushing discriminatory legislation, I'll fight for affordable healthcare, good-paying jobs, quality education, and protecting our environment. Our communities deserve a representative who works to bring resources home, not one who prioritizes partisan politics over progress. It's time for leadership that listens, unites, and delivers results for all of us.
